 | November 2009 Dolly Garland says: "Since buying my first moleskine in June 2009 for a trip to Turkey, I fell in love with them. I am trying different moleskine notebooks for different purposes. This picture is from my fourth one, a large watercolour notebook, in which I am attempting to make my first ever art journal. So now moleskine notebooks are accompanying me on my journey to enhance creativity. Despite their deceptively simple appearance, I have found moleskine notebooks to be perfect in every respect. As a writer I'm always scribbling down thoughts and ideas, but as an outdoor writer it's imperative that I keep an accurate record of the routes I create for readers to follow. The small Moleskine notebooks are ideal for this. I used one of these to keep all the routes I walked for my book "Best Walks in the Welsh Borders" and I've used loads over the years to record the route directions for my walks that appear in Country Walking and Country & Border Life magazines.
