| March 2010 Mady Hammond says: "I was in Alaska in the winter 2008. It was wonderful because having read polar snow adventures it's a dream come true ! I was very privileged to be invited out there by a naturalist living in Alaska and travelled with him for a month. We attended a scientific meetings, went from friend to friend and where invited to visit the UAF (University of Alaska Fairbanks). I travelled out there in cold and beautiful winter. This Moleskine was always in my pocket and with a pencil it came to use even by -40°C !" Mady has chosen a Pocket Watercolour Notebook | ||

![]() | November 2009 Dolly Garland says: "Since buying my first moleskine in June 2009 for a trip to Turkey, I fell in love with them. I am trying different moleskine notebooks for different purposes. This picture is from my fourth one, a large watercolour notebook, in which I am attempting to make my first ever art journal. So now moleskine notebooks are accompanying me on my journey to enhance creativity. Despite their deceptively simple appearance, I have found moleskine notebooks to be perfect in every respect. Just using them, writing or drawing in them, actually fills me with joy. For a journal addict, that’s something special. See more Dolly's work here: http://www.journal-addict.blogspot.com/

And with that, I get to buy a new one and smell it for the first time. It's a wonderful feeling." ![]() | April 2009 "Imelda Marcos collects shoes, I collect Moleskine notebooks. As a writer I'm always scribbling down thoughts and ideas, but as an outdoor writer it's imperative that I keep an accurate record of the routes I create for readers to follow. The small Moleskine notebooks are ideal for this. I used one of these to keep all the routes I walked for my book "Best Walks in the Welsh Borders" and I've used loads over the years to record the route directions for my walks that appear in Country Walking and Country & Border Life magazines. Put simply, without Moleskine notebooks I'd be lost - and so would many of my readers! Keep up the good work!" Simon Whaley - Author, Writer & Photographer
