May 2010 - Pictures, Photos and Scans - Winner No. 19 - Jasmin Darnell
"I bought my first moleskine sketchbook last year as I fell in love with it's size, format and paper colour. Once I'd found the courage to actually draw in it I found my drawings actually seemed better on the top quality paper, the smoothness and opacity of it and the tall format really appealed to me. It's a beautiful surface to draw on. I've since bought the A4 sketchbook for larger more refined drawings, cahiers and journals that I use as university lecture books and exercise books, and plain journals for designing patterns and motifs in. It's an endless love story :)".

"I was in Alaska in the winter 2008. It was wonderful because having read polar snow adventures it's a dream come true !I was very privileged to be invited out there by a naturalist living in Alaska and travelled with him for a month. We attended a scientific meetings, went from friend to friend and where invited to visit the UAF (University of Alaska Fairbanks). I travelled out there in cold and beautiful winter. This Moleskine was always in my pocket and with a pencil it came to use even by -40°C !"
November 2009 - Pictures, Photos and Scans - Winner No. 16 - Dolly Garland
"Since buying my first moleskine in June 2009 for a trip to Turkey, I fell in love with them. I am trying different moleskine notebooks for different purposes. This picture is from my fourth one, a large watercolour notebook, in which I am attempting to make my first ever art journal. So now moleskine notebooks are accompanying me on my journey to enhance creativity. Despite their deceptively simple appearance, I have found moleskine notebooks to be perfect in every respect. Just using them, writing or drawing in them, actually fills me with joy. For a journal addict, that’s something special."

Septembe 2009 - Pictures, Photos and Scans - Winner No. 15 - Yasemin Ezberci
"Whenever I get a new Moleskine, I feel so nervous at first, that nothing I would draw on it will be good enough to be drawn on a Moleskine, then, when I let myself go, only the last page can stop me. And with that, I get to buy a new one and smell it for the first time. It's a wonderful feeling."

April 2009 - Pictures, Photos and Scans - Winner No. 13 - Simon Whaley
"Imelda Marcos collects shoes, I collect Moleskine notebooks. As a writer I'm always scribbling down thoughts and ideas, but as an outdoor writer it's imperative that I keep an accurate record of the routes I create for readers to follow. The small Moleskine notebooks are ideal for this. I used one of these to keep all the routes I walked for my book "Best Walks in the Welsh Borders" and I've used loads over the years to record the route directions for my walks that appear in Country Walking and Country & Border Life magazines.
Put simply, without Moleskine notebooks I'd be lost - and so would many of my readers! Keep up the good work!"

"I started keeping a notebook in 2001 - It takes a while to develop a knack on what to write. And the knack is just to write what you like. Never treat your notebook as some precious object. There is nothing sadder than a half filled notebook. I have never found a doodle or thought boring when looked at again. Next time you have a family get together get a Moleskine and get everyone to fill a page: what could be a more personal momento of the day!"

"Thank you so much, a great surprise at the end of a hard week.I was introduced to Moleskine bay Matt Murphy an illustrator whose notebooks are full of quirky ideas and inspiration. Sadly I don't have any serious artistic talent, but simply jotting in my Moleskines makes me feel as if my ideas have more promise, they've even acquired a certain bohemian quality now that the books are so well used."

When I have placed an order, (previously for a city notebook as a gift), it has arrived promptly and well packaged. I prefer to order from the web site with access to the full range of products."
